Why do I have lower back pain when I walk for any distance?

Sue B asked:

I like walking in the country but it’s spoiled as my lower back starts to hurt after about 5 minutes. It also happens when shopping or if I stand for any length of time. It eases immediately I sit down or sometimes when upright I bend forward and stretch my lower back muscles which helps. It never hurts when sitting or lying.
I don’t feel it’s worth bothering the doc with but I am puzzled by this pain! Any ideas anyone and any solutions?

do you sit up sraight?? it might be from years of poor posture and slouching if you take time to sit up straight a lot of back problems will be eliminated!
