Pain at back of knee?

alib3636 asked:

I am 23 and female, I recently went on vacation to Las Vegas and walked up and down the whole strip with no pain. A couple days after I got back (yesterday) I walked on the treadmill for an hour. I was at no elevation at a speed of 3.6. After an hour my knee started to hurt. Today I took my dog on a 30 minute walk and at about 15, the pain got much worse. I turned around immediately to go home and hardly made it. The pain makes it hard to walk, there is no swelling, it is not red, it is mostly in the back…but there is no visible sign of a Baker’s Cyst. I had it propped for most of the day and it felt better. Then when I went for a short walk with my dog again, I could hardly make it 5 minutes. I don’t know if this sounds like a problem with my actual knee or something I did to a muscle? What treatment should I try? I have it propped right now with a heating pad under it
