- Can it fully heal with home treatment? How long would this take?
- If the doctors put it back, how would they do it and how painful?

I am 24 years old and not in a very good body shape. I used to play cricket once in a while and every time I played, I had lower leg pain. The pain was too much and I used to feel as someone had hit me with iron rods on the lower front part of my leg.

This summer I joined the cricket club and played a few matches in last three weeks. This time the pain is even worse. As soon as I start playing, I will feel as if I have broken both my leg bones from the lower side. My whole body would shake because of the amount of pain I feel. Even sitting or laying would not give me any comfort.

The funniest part is that one day after I finish playing, my legs would be fine and I can walk for hours. But as soon as I run or play another match, I would get my pain back.

Please advise me on causes and treatment, other than going to GP as this is something I am already planning to do in a couple of weeks (taking a day off from work is not possible right now)

Okay, so I recently thought I had a yeast infection, I didn’t get it checked out at the doctor, just had my mother buy the cream because I had itching, burning, and a discharge. (I do not have a STD, I have been checked.) Well I’ve injected the cream for two night nows, and tonight would be the third night, but right now I’m having some lower abdominal and back pain. I don’t know what to do, continue with the monistat treatment or wait til I can see a doctor? What happens if I keep using the monistat even if I’m having this pain?

I’ve had problems with my lower lumbar for over 15 years. Last month I tried a new treatment my mom bought for me online. The TruBack, which is a sort of traction device you lay down on and it “works its magic”. Well, I laid down on it the evening I got it, and the next day my back hurt so much I couldn’t go to work. That night I felt better and tried it again, since you’re supposed to use it a few days. The next morning the back pain was completely gone, but my sciatic nerve was bothering me.
It started on my left leg towards the hip and shot down to my ankle. Then it slowly moved down to my calf and my big toe started feeling numb.
I got an MRI done and found that I had an extremely large herniated disk and now doctors want to operate.
They say because it’s only leg pain, it should be a pretty simple procedure. But it’s still scary.
The herniated is about the size that the disk should be outside on the left side, which is why the pain on the left leg. Still no back pain.

I do not take pain medicine and use Lidoderm patches, but, lately that doesn’t seem to help either. Now the pain and sciatica seem to be worse than before the surgery and I have since moved to another state. I went to my PCP and was seen by a NP who ordered an MRI for me and I have listed the results below. At the time, she asked if I wanted to see a chiropractor before the MRI and I just said that maybe we should wait to get the results back. MRI of the Lumbar Spine with and without Contrast

Findings: Multiplanar noncontrast imaging is performed. The vertebral bodies are appropriately maintained in height and alignment. Rounded areas of marrow signal alteration within the sacrum are consistent with vertebral hemangiomas. There are minor degenerative type sub end plate marrow signal changes observed about the L1-L2 and L3-L4 disc spaces. There is degenerative loss of disc signal seen at the L1-L2 and to a lesser degree the L4-L5 disc space. There is mild/moderate disc space narrowing at the L1-L2 level.

At L1-L2, there is minor bulging of the disc margin without significant central spinal canal or neural foraminal stenosis.

L2-L3 demonstrates no disc bulging and the central canal and foramina are widely patent.

At L2-L3, minimal bulging of the disc margin centrally is observed without evidence of a focal soft disc herniation. There is minor facet arthropathy, but the central canal and foramina are not significantly stenosed.

At L4-L5, postoperative changes are observed posteriorly on the right. There is minimal enhancing scar formation seen along the far posterior and right aspect of the central canal. There is minor bulging of the L4-L5 disc margin with mild changes of bilateral facet arthropathy. This results in only mild encroachment of the central spinal canal and mild bilateral neural foraminal stenosis. There is no direct nerve root impingement.

At L4-L5, there is no significant disc bulging and the central spinal canal and neural foramina are widely patent.

The conus terminates appropriately and demonstrates normal signal and the paraspinal soft tissues appear unremarkable. There is no abnormal intradural or intramedullary enhancement following Gadolinium administration.

Impression: Postoperative Changes at the L4-L5 Level

MILD MULTILEVEL DEGENERATIVE DISC CHANGES AND FACET ARTHROPATHY WITHOUT FINDINGS OF SIGNIFICANT CENTRAL CANAL STENOSIS. THERE IS MILD TO MODERATE NEURAL FORAMINAL ENCROACHMENT BILATERALLY AT THE L4-L5 LEVEL

I have been under a lot of stress recently and don’t know whether to simply attribute it to that.
I am 17 years of age, female.
I have been suffering from daily headaches (a dull pain in the front of my head), neck and back pain, constant fatigue (even just after waking I want to go back to bed again!), sleepless nights and random waves of nausea. I’m very worried about this as I want to get my life back to normal again, it is affecting me everyday and adding to my stress.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what this could be and how to treat it?
Been to the Dr and didn’t get any good advice or treatment options.

The day before that my heart skiped a few beats it scard me half to death i wasn`t really doing much, just sitting down on my bed writting, i also have alot of back pain. I`m no medical expert and i can`t really go see a doctor cause i have no health insurance (Those bastards canceled out my insurance after I turn 18 >:(, and i`m still a highschool student and my parents won`t let me get a job until at least the summer) so I can`t pay for any medical treatment, I`m not one to complain about my health and normally i wouldn`t say anthing to anybody but i`m tired of the pain and i just want to know what the hell is wrong with me

was hoping to get an opinion. herniated a disc 2 yrs ago. got sciatica as a result that progressively got worse to the pt where i needed surgery. have been pain free for a yr, but 2 wks ago, pulled my back again golfing. the back pain is gone, but i feel the all too familiar pinching sensation in the upper-left buttocks. no pain going down my leg yet, but this is how it started last time so would like to seek treatment as soon as possible. i tried medication, physical therapy, accupuncture & epideral injections last time to no avail so had to get surgery as a last resort. this time, i’m wondering if i should try chiropractic treatment as it was the only treatment i didn’t try last time. however, i’ve heard mix things about it both personally & online, so if anyone can share their experience or expertise as it relates to herniated discs & sciatica, i’d appreciate it.

I’ve been back and forth to the podiatrist about 6 times now and each time he adjusts the orthotics by adding or deleting materials and each time causes a unique kind of unbearable pain? And each visit is adding up financially. The five hundred dollar orthotics is now becoming about $700.00.

hi. im 24 weeks pregnant and have severe pain in my pelvis. could this be spd? what is the treatment for this as i have read that the physio and stuff doesnt work. before i found out about spd i went to the doctor and he just put it down to back pain and gave me a weeks sick note. should i mention the spd to him and also do you think he can give me a longer sick note as i am finding it difficult walking and my job involves lots of standing and heavy lifting. i cannot reduce my hours as i am the duty manager and must work full time. i dont want to take anything more than paracetomol. please help it hurts to even turn in bed. my doctor just looks at me like im stupid.
